snow day

in honor of the inauguration, we got a good snow yesterday. it wouldn't count as much for those of you who live up north, but it was the best snow we've gotten since i've been living in north carolina.

















it made me miss ohio a little bit.
















but just a little bit.



suki had never seen snow before and thought it was the greatest thing ever and wanted to know why we hadn't gotten her some of this stuff before. she had a grand time bounding about in it with a puppy from down the street.

    Looks like so much fun1 The house is so cute. Cooper will be jealous that he did not get to play in the snow with Suki!

    What a great way to celebrate the inauguration day!1 It looks like you all (maybe not calypso??) enjoyed the snow. We celebrated, also, by celebrating Morgan's 8th birthday- her first without W as President- she was born just shortly after he was sworn in, and we've always told her we'd have extra reasons to celebrate her 8th!!! hope all is well- what is your address?? We're actually hoping for more snow so we can try out our new snowshoes (from Santa) Lots of love, Nancy
